Far From Par started as most great ideas do... with three friends, a questionable amount of confidence, and a simple question: Why don’t we start our own golf tournament?
A few years later, here we are. Still not on the PGA Tour, but hosting one of the most entertaining (and occasionally competitive) golf tournaments in Calgary. What began as an excuse to spend a day on the course has grown into an annual event filled with good shots, bad shots, and even worse excuses.
We believe that golf should be fun, the banter should be relentless, and the 19th hole should never be skipped. Whether you’re here for the glory, the laughs, or just to see how many balls you can lose in a single round, welcome. We’re glad you’re here.
